Oliver, Kelsey and I connected through a friend of theirs that I had photographed a couple years earlier. A quick exchange of DM’s, and kelsey was in my inbox telling me details of her Italian elopement. Her plans for their wedding started the day before the ceremony, where she wanted to rent a boat and do a sunset tour of Lake Garda. Of course, I was not opposed to that idea in the slightest.

when the evening came, the sun was hidden by dark clouds over the lake. The feel was DIFFERENT than expected, but we leaned into the moody vibe. Our boat guide told us they actually filmed a scene of James Bond Quantum of Solace here!! So please allow that soundtrack to drift through your mind as you enjoy their first set of photos.

Then came the wedding day. They booked a beautiful suite at Bella Vista Lakefront Hotel that boasted a huge waterfront patio. They took their time getting ready together, and we documented the process.

I’ll never forget Kelsey leaning over the railing looking out over the lake in her wedding dress, with the most picture perfect sky in the background.

Then they sauntered over to the park in town and met the mayor, who married them. We spent the rest of the time wandering, drinking aperol SPRITZES and soaking in the gorgeous day. Enjoy!
